Counts with definitions attached.
MAILTIG reports campaign and mailbox counts. Opens and clicks are noisy indicators, not proof of a conversation.
MAILTIG

Analytics: campaign metrics and the path from reply to opportunity. · Product v1.0 · captured 4 Nov 2026
- What is measured
- Per-campaign and per-mailbox sent, opened, clicked, replied, bounced and unsubscribed counts, a sent-to-replied funnel, daily trends, an engagement heatmap and A/B results once each variant has at least 30 sends.
| Metric | What is counted | Caution |
|---|---|---|
| Sent | Messages the product handed to the connected mailbox or ESP. | Not the same as inbox placement. |
| Opened | Tracked open pixels that fired. | Mail clients prefetch and block images. Treat as noisy. |
| Clicked | Tracked links that were requested. | Security scanners click links. A zero means no tracked link was requested. |
| Replied | Inbound messages matched to the contact and campaign. | The conversation metric that matters. Still not a booked meeting. |
| Bounced / unsubscribed | Provider bounce codes and unsubscribe actions. | High bounce rates pause sending. They do not prove list quality alone. |
Opens and clicks
Opens and clicks depend on recipient mail clients. A zero click count means no tracked link was opened, not that the campaign failed. A/B comparison starts after 30 sends per variant.

Outreach analytics: useful signals versus vanity metrics
Sent, bounced, unsubscribed and replied are decisions. Opens and clicks are clues. MAILTIG shows both, with definitions on the same page as the numbers.

How to interpret replies versus opens
A reply is a person. An open is a pixel that may never fire. MAILTIG reports both, and treats opens and clicks as noisy indicators.
