Mail providers
SMTP and IMAP
Connect any mailbox that offers SMTP for sending and, optionally, IMAP for replies.
- Connection
- SMTP / IMAP credentials
- Direction
- send-receive
- Plan
- All plans
What works
- SMTP with STARTTLS; credentials stored encrypted
- Optional IMAP settings so replies are polled into the inbox (UID-aware cursor, 25 messages per run)
- DKIM signing with your sending domain's key once its DNS record passes
- Full header set including List-Unsubscribe and one-click unsubscribe
Limitations
- Without IMAP the mailbox is send-only and replies are not collected
- Daily send limit defaults to 50 per mailbox
- Connection test verifies SMTP (and IMAP when configured); it cannot predict provider reputation
Requirements
- SMTP host, port, username and password
- IMAP host and credentials if you want replies
