A safe first outbound test
A short checklist before the first MAILTIG campaign: mailbox, domain, audience, credits, preflight and a tiny volume. Not a promise of results.

A first MAILTIG test proves the plumbing: mailbox, domain, audience, credits, preflight, then a tiny volume. It is not a promise of pipeline.
Checklist
- Mailbox connected and test-connection green. Daily cap left at the provider default (50 for personal mailboxes).
- Sending domain verified. All four DNS checks pass. You understand this is not inbox placement.
- Postal address saved for the footer. MAILTIG will not start while this blocker is present.
- Audience of people you may email. Import ten, not ten thousand. Verify if you want (0.1 credit each).
- Sequence of two email steps and a reply branch. No purchased list. No scraped list.
- Credits. A new workspace has 250 trial credits. One sent email costs one credit.
- Preflight clean. Read every warning. If the workspace requires approval, get it.
- Send window in your time zone, weekends off unless you have a reason.
Then start. Read the inbox. If bounces appear, stop. MAILTIG will pause the campaign itself at a 5% bounce rate after 20 sends, but you can pause sooner.
